Early morning sunrise in the marina at san Fernandina, FL. Looking East from the dock, I took three bracketed exposures and merged them for this HDR image. The reflection was almost perfect, except for the fish that jumped!

Foggy morning on Paynes Prairie and the thousands of Sandhill cranes were starting to move about. This is a large panorama file and photo.

An evening photograph of the Hippodrome Theater in Gainesville, FL; a converted Post Office Building.

The Pevine Trail in Prescott, AZ offered up this view as some rain clouds were passing by.

Palouse Falls in the Freezing Winter. This is a hard hike to the bottom of this canyon, but well worth it on a hot summer day. The freezing mist of the falls here covered everything with a layer of transparent ice. Lots of water going over the falls for this time of year.

Gainesville, Florida celebrates the NCAA football playoff game. Here the local Hippodrome Theatre shows the Orange & Blue lights.

First bloom of the Christmas cactus. Brought the hanging plant in from the rain; used a black paper background and then a flashlight beam for the lighting.

Sunset near the Jacksonville, FL bridges with some added effects.

Lily pad ponds are so cool - even in the hot sun.

Something almost romantic about the Palouse rolling amber hills and the waving fields. About half the fields here are already cut.

One of the most photographed sites on UF campus - the Baughman Meditation Center; home of now many weddings. I went out there today (August, 2008) to take another photo and that group of trees in front of the front door, now block almost the entire front of the building.

Take away the red stripe at the top of this building and it would disappear; a stealth building.
