Early morning sunrise in the marina at san Fernandina, FL. Looking East from the dock, I took three bracketed exposures and merged them for this HDR image. The reflection was almost perfect, except for the fish that jumped!

An evening photograph of the Hippodrome Theater in Gainesville, FL; a converted Post Office Building.

Palouse Falls in the Freezing Winter. This is a hard hike to the bottom of this canyon, but well worth it on a hot summer day. The freezing mist of the falls here covered everything with a layer of transparent ice. Lots of water going over the falls for this time of year.

$Black & White & Colors More Jelly Bellies - a glaring sun casts refractions and shadows on to white construction paper.$

The Pevine Trail in Prescott, AZ offered up this view as some rain clouds were passing by.

Meercats are cool to watch. This was taken at Disney World's Animal Kingdom in Orlando, FL.

Gainesville, Florida celebrates the NCAA football playoff game. Here the local Hippodrome Theatre shows the Orange & Blue lights.

First bloom of the Christmas cactus. Brought the hanging plant in from the rain; used a black paper background and then a flashlight beam for the lighting.

Something almost romantic about the Palouse rolling amber hills and the waving fields. About half the fields here are already cut.

Lily pad ponds are so cool - even in the hot sun.

A flower submerged in a water-filled wine glass casts an interesting shadow on a white background. This photo has been white balanced - see the adjoining image. I was amazed at the light penetration and reflection on the paper plate. This image is a merger of three different exposures.

This rose was calling for a photo - so I took it.

I was invited to take photos at my nephew's wedding; so here are a few I would like to add to my portrait portfolio. Feel free to comment on any of them.
