Farol > Night-time view of the St. Petersburg marina.
Farol > Orange Lake in central Florida. Low water levels. This lake is connected to Lake Lochloosa via Cross Creek.
Farol > Entrance to Cross Creek from Orange Lake in Florida. Water levels still very low. This lake is connected to Lake Lochloosa via Cross Creek. For you literary buffs, this is the same area made immortal by Marjorie Kinnian Rawlings in her legendary books, 'The Yearling' and 'Cross Creek'.
Farol > Early morning sunrise in the marina at San Fernandina, FL. Looking South from the dock, I took three bracketed exposures and merged them for this HDR image. The reflection was almost perfect.
Farol > Early morning sunrise in the marina at san Fernandina, FL. Looking East from the dock, I took three bracketed exposures and merged them for this HDR image. The reflection was almost perfect, except for the fish that jumped!
Farol > Water from Paynes Prairie going into the Alachua sink and then into the Florida aquafer.
Farol > Sailboat anchored at Cedar Key, FL with the nuclear power plant at Crystal River FL on the horizon some 26 miles away on this clear morning.
Farol > The lighthouse at Montara, CA also serves as a hostel. Folks travel down the coast leaving San Francisco (usually on bicycles) and making it to here for the night. This is a morning shot with the sunlight just starting to reach the shore from the coastal range. More info at:
