Farol > A flower submerged in a water-filled wine glass casts an interesting shadow on a white background. This photo has been white balanced - see the adjoining image. I was amazed at the light penetration and reflection on the paper plate. This image is a merger of three different exposures.

Farol > My first real HDR image. I took the bowl of jelly bellies, set them on a paper plate and put them in the bright sunlight. Then I took 3 bracketed images and used Photomatix to develop the HDR image.
Farol > There's gold somewhere in this bank!! With the shaky status of some banks because of their poor investments, maybe all that gold is NOT THERE!! Interesting reflections on this bright sunny day in Lexinton, KY. I was biking through this city, and saw the tall glass buildings, so I pulled off and grabbed some shots. This is a 3-exposure HDR image. No idea of the exact location of this building, but it can be seen from quite a distance.
Farol > Leaning Lighthouse of Puerto Morales, Mexico. Damaged by a hurricane, another was built to replace it. Wonder how long it will remain standing?
